S.R.O. philosophy behind building spinners centers around the type of structure the spinner will be used rather than just one use any-time pattern. Each SRO pattern emphasize certain characteristic of a spinners performance to maximize it's effectiveness in certain situations. Some patterns like the Cassidy are designed to be used on tight structure that allows for a couple extra seconds in the strike zone. Other patterns are made for coldwater stoney rivers that have deep pools while others are meant to perform best on small streams. Characteristics like blade rotation speed, running depth, line resistance, blade rotation stability, and blade engage time are manipulated to give you a spinner that maximizes your presentation and ultimately catch you a lot more fish.
The Stoney River Outfitter site brings to you a real choice in the tackle you use on the water.
